"I ordered a blackened mahi-mahi fish sandwich that came with a side of fries, and I think it's a good deal for $22. The fish was delicious, but it's messy to eat. The service was great. However, I'm not giving it 5 stars because we were seated outside where there was no heater, and I was freezing. Also, the sandwich was missing salt and pepper."

"We had the best time at Nick’s Del Mar. We arrived and were able to be immediately seated on the patio. I hadn’t been to a Nicks since pre-COVID and that was up at their San Clemente location so it was our first time at the Del Mar spot. We started off with a Cucumber Collins and a beer. For dinner we ordered the a Prime Rib Dip and the Blackened Fish Sandwich. The Prime Rib Dip is a specialty of the house and melts in your mouth. They only serve it until they run out daily. My partner loved the fish sandwich as well. For dessert we had the Warm Butter Cake and, oh my goodness, it is SO delicious. I highly recommend leaving room for that. Service was punctual and friendly and everyone we encountered and were served by were smiling and pleasant."

"We've been repeat offenders at Nick's Del Mar for a year or so. We are fans of dinning in the bar with our bartender friend Mark. The service is exceptional, food is consistent, and the drinks are the best. Ever find yourself in this area, do stop by and checkout Nick's."

"This place I visited for my friend's birthday. The shrimp I ordered as an appetizer with a glass of margarita went well with the sauce, so it was a good start.Margarita liked the jalapeno watermelon more slightly spicy than the original. It was good that the other foods were not salty and the taste was not too biased in the sauce. I'm going to try different kinds of fish at the outside table next day."

"We loved Nicks in Laguna Beach so we had to try this location and it didn’t disappoint. Made reservations a week in advance to be sure to get a nice table. The atmosphere is very chill and we had a bird’s eye view of the chef’s kitchen. We had the halibut macadamia crusted with pineapple sauce and the meatloaf special. These were both amazing dishes! We will be coming back soon!!"
