Tried & True Tattoo, located at 6670 New Nashville Highway in Smyrna, Tennessee, is a premier tattoo store established in 2010. With over 35 years of combined experience, our three resident artists are skilled in various tattoo styles including traditional, new school, realism, portraits, black and grey, asian/oriental, and script. Our focus is on providing clients with clean and high-quality tattoos that they can proudly wear for a lifetime.
As a custom shop, we work closely with clients to create unique designs tailored to their preferences. Our shop maintains a clean and relaxed atmosphere, with enclosed booths equipped with televisions for privacy. During the tattooing process, most of our artists use H2Ocean's Nothing Tattoo Glide, which contains 4% Lidocaine to help reduce redness and discomfort.

"I never write google reviews, so this is how you should know this was an amazing experience. I called multiple places trying to get an appointment and when I spoke to Ryan, I knew this was the place! He was so friendly. Came in and told him what I wanted. He gave me just that. My husband had an idea of what he wanted and Ryan took it and brought it to life. He did a leg wrap and let me tell you, it is one of a kind! We were there for several hours, and it was just a great experience. I would recommend Ryan to anyone and will be back!"
