"Upon arrival the wait time was less than five minutes for a family, I ordered the carnitas, my husband got the enchiladas and our son ordered a chicken taco. I didn’t like their food I did however like the carnitas I ordered. Could the food be better, the service was ok. I enjoyed the time with my family here overall."

"We visited for restaurant week. The meal was a good deal and the food was good. We had the Cali surf and turf burrito and chicken enchiladas for our main courses. We started with a Caesars salad and chicken tortilla soup. For dessert we had the flan, which was delicious, and the fried ice cream. All of the items were good. Our server was very attentive and did a really good job. We had a flight of margaritas that were also really good."

The service was really fast even with the restaurant being busy they served our food fast. I will definitely be a returning customer! The aesthetic was beautiful and I felt welcomed from the beginning to the end. I would recommend to stop here and try them out if you are visiting or live here"

"Classic San Diego Mexican Food. Returned yesterday for the first time in over 25 years and it was excellent. Food was exactly how I remembered and our server Sierra was awesome. Food came out fast and was very hot and fresh. Look forward to returning again soon."

"I met some colleagues at the Cafe Coyote for a moment. They had drinks, chips, salsa, guacamole and some fresh made tortillas. Based on that, the food was tasty. I should have ordered an entree but they were heading out to hit more bars and I was tired. The tortillas was delicious, tho! They make them fresh, right in front of you. It was a fun atmosphere, for sure! I don’t think you can go wrong going there."
