"Absolutely dreadful - a complete bastardization of Vietnamese cooking. I wouldn't eat the food even if you paid me; however, I am utterly disappointed since I had to pay $15. When I went to Cravings with my party, we each got something different. I went to Nhau while others got The Coop and Monkey King. I thought the menu looked interesting and was surprised by the Vietnamese moniker. When I ordered, I was served by the manager. I asked him for the bún, pronounced with the proper Vietnamese accent. When I said that, he looked markedly confused until I Americanized it to "bun" - like bread bun. At this point, he said it would take about 10-15 minutes and that they would find me since the food hall wasn't busy. Everyone else got their orders, but I waited for more than 30 minutes before I got my dish and had to inquire about my order with the manager as well. At this point, my party was finished with their food. When I got/tasted my dish, I noticed several things. 1) It lacked any sauce. I initially thought they would have it on the bottom, so I stirred it around, but it was also dry. This is normally served with nước mắm, or a type of dipping/fish sauce, but it was absent. 2) The noodles were incorrect. This is typically served with vermicelli noodles, but they use phở noodles instead. In addition to the lack of sauce, when using phở noodles, they will dry out quickly and clump together - which happened when I tried to stir them. 3) The meat was tough and bland. Typically, the meat is charbroiled and spiced to give it its inviting aroma. However, they were cut way too thick and lacked any flavor. 4) The vegetables were way too large. Since this is typically served with sauce, the vegetables should usually be cut into smaller pieces so they can be incorporated with most bites. 5) The egg rolls were soggy and cold. It should have had a nice crunchy to it, but I was taken aback. 6) The shrimp lacked flavor, but I guess it would have been the highlight as everything else lowered the bar so much. Suffice to say, everything was wrong: the incorrectly made food, the slow service, and the name."
