"Fantastic!! If you’re a local…then you know. Visitors, get yourself here!! Service: these days with lackluster service the service here is top notch. The warmest welcome and smile from hostess Bridgette, followed up by a quick visit once seated for drink order from Chris. Superstar service from Crystal. Crystal & Chris checked on our coffee, water and meal. Super impressed with their warmth and kindness. Food: coffee worth its price!! IYKYK… we enjoyed (devoured) the homemade chicken fried steak with extra crispy hash browns. Kudos to the kitchen!! Outstanding meal. And the soft scrambled eggs, Voila! Atmosphere, love the different rooms each with its own flair. Comfortable temperature for a chilly February morning. We will be back….soon!"
"Not sure how this place gets 4 stars, but we've had prior bad service and didn't complain. This morning our waiter was happy and joyous to sell us a cinnamon roll and we went with it and it cost $8 dollars. The host tried to sit is in the back of restaurants where you get no service. Horrible experience once again"
"First time that we have ever been here and I definitely will be going back. Family gathering for breakfast food was wonderful cooked very well and the friendliness of the staff made a great difference in the eating adventure. Everybody had different items no lacking in the amount of food that was served. Would definitely recommend their sweet potato fries yum yum yum yum"
"Classic diner vibes. I had the steak and eggs - steak was a little tough and the hash browns weren’t quite as crispy as I would have liked but the price was right and the ambiance was definitely there. My partner had the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed it. Nice greasy spoon for a morning outing, I enjoyed it and the service was really good."
"Great food with superior interior design and decorations reminding us the artistic era from the 70s. It is a perfect place for family gatherings, hanging out with friends, special celebrations or corporate events. It is also a must-visit landmark for tourists who come to the city or a perfect spot for a movie set from the era. DC offers a welcoming atmosphere with lots of open space, inside and out. It gives their new patrons a whole new experience dining here or keep the veteran diners returning for decades to come."
