"Wasted diagnosis fee and credit, which was from their overcharge. No refund even after wrong diagnosis. I ended up going to other repair shop as they gave up fixing my car after several parts replacement for 3 weeks. Finally, my car was repaired in a day from the other repair shop in Mira mesa. Do not waste your valuable time and money here!"

"Five Star really lives up to its namesake. Fantastic customer service. I got my A/C repaired and although my problem wasn't solved the first time, he discounted the price of my first visit parts/labor from the real issue. Not only that, he called to tell me he got the part for 100 cheaper than he anticipated and took that off as well! He could have very easily not said anything and pocketed the difference, but Jim and the guys at Five Star are forthcoming and have integrity. I would trust them with my car any day of the week!"

"Been taking my cars here for years. They always do a good job at a fair price. Customer service is great. Recently took my Toyota van in and needed a water pump. Jim called Toyota and quoted me a price around $900, much less than the $1,700 the dealer wanted to charge. While talking with Toyota, Jim found this was covered under warranty. He called me back with the good news. Paid them for diagnostic and got the water pump for free at the dealer. I would hope most places would deal this honestly with their customers, but am not so sure these days. Thanks again Jim."
