"We tried to order from the self service kiosk but it dosent have the options we needed. After waiting at the register to order they Straight up REFUSED to take my order at the register! Said quote" were doing this now" Walked us over to the self service kiosk and said I can help you get anything you need here. Very 1st item requested they could not find. After fumbling thru the menu for a while they asked for help from another person. IM NOT A FAST FOOD EMPLOYEE, STOP MAKING DO ANOTHER JOB!!. Did you lower price at all for me to be doing any extra work? Nope. It's just ridiculous that they want even more from us while giving us less and less. Super disappointed and will actively discourage people from going to this mc donalds. The drive to El cajon or lakeside is worth it. Side note, there was someone else there that was able to order at the kiosk but was paying in cash in which case the employee has to take the order ticket repunch it into the register anyway. It's people literally walking in circles in the name of saving money."

"I walked into the restaurant instead of going through the drive thru and was very disappointed to find that McDonald's is forcing customers to order via digital machines. What has happened to hiring people to provide personal customer service? The one person that was there so you could pay for your food with cash was very nice. I asked her if people could order with her as opposed to using the machines. She said management was highly discouraging them from doing that. She said they would help people with the machines. However, no one offered assistance, and I had a question. I will only use the drive thru going forward. Then, at least, I will get a person to talk to."

"If I could give this place zero stars for food and service, I would. First of all, the establishment itself is very clean and taken care of. But the staff? Rude and plain disrespectful. After standing at the counter for almost 10 minutes, simply waiting to ask a question I had to say excuse me to one of the workers, which in return I was ignored. These employees made eye contact with me multiple times and continued to ignore not only me, but other patrons waiting to be helped. When, after three times of me asking for salt, because my fries were not salted whatsoever, I finally received the item, the employee aggressively threw it in my food bag I was holding and said “you should have asked for it when you ordered”. How am I supposed to predict that my fries will not be salted and will therefore need to order some? If you are looking for, not even excellent, but mediocre service, this is still not the place you should go."
