"First time being in carlsbad, we walked the village and wanted to find a nice place to enjoy outside with some snacks. We ordered a beer and an appetizer. The waitress was very inattentive from the start. She brought the wrong beer, but it took her so long to come back out that my bf decided to just drink it. Ordered an appetizer, took a few bites and found a piece of hair. We didn't ask a replacement or comp. We just wanted to leave. Waitress drops off the check and never came back out for another 20 minutes. Finally, I got so upset with this service that I took the payment inside. Glad that I did because the waitress looked like she had no intentions on coming back out during her shift."
"This is the worst Mexican food place I have been to. The beans were Rosarita canned beans and the rice was uncle Ben’s. You can see from the pic the rice is clearly uncle Ben’s without any flavor. A real Mexican restaurant would never serve uncle Ben’s . Very disappointed. Mas Fina in Spanish means the most fine and this is far from it. The restaurant looked cute so we decided to take a chance but the food was horrible. I am not sure where the 4+ plus stars comes from. My mother in law ordered the taquitos and they looked like the Costco taquitos. They also served them without melting the rice."
