"Great casual food! My kind of place, order at counter they bring it to your seat. Either indoor or outdoor seating. I have only had breakfast, the burrito is huge and amazing. The wet burrito sauce is perfect with just the right amount of spice. Pancakes are great also as is the standard black coffee."
"I was dropping off friends at John Wayne Airport, and we were looking for a good breakfast/ brunch spot. We tried a few places, but they were closed due to the holiday tomorrow. We landed at the Rooster Cafe and were pleasantly surprised. They were packed, which is always a good sign. We ordered at the counter and took our number to a table outside as the inside was full. It was overcast and cool, but they were in the process of repaving their parking lot. So it was noisy and a little stinky, but the food was delicious. I had the breakfast burrito, which was full of hashbrowns, bacon, and eggs. It was delicious, and the salsa that came with it was spicy and complimented it well. My friend had the avocado toast with the balsamic drizzle and a poached egg served with a fruit salad. Even though it was packed, the food came out really quick, and the server was friendly and efficient. If I am in the area again, I will definitely be stopping here. Not only do they have a great breakfast menu, but their sandwich menu was very enticing as well."
