"We came to this cafe for some breakfast, and it was pretty much full, so you can expect some wait times in the morning. The service was very mediocre, to be honest. The waitress was completely indifferent and quite inattentive. The food was not really good, and for the most part too spicy. The coffee that was brought to the table was cold, so had to be replaced. And overall, we didn’t have that great of an experience."
"The BEST food.....I've had the meatloaf and blackened catfish with collard greens...A++++ Service? A+++++ They have the best people working there...from the minute you walk in, you are greeted warmly. The servers are the best! They make you feel so welcome, and they take care of you...anticipating your needs....wait, how did my drink get filled up? Haha. I look forward to going there for the food and seeing the very warm/kind people that work there."
"Visiting town from the Carolinas for business trip, and I stopped here to get breakfast after a recommendation from one of my executives. I am not lying when I say that this was the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life. I would recommend this to anyone looking for great food. The furniture and overall appearance of the building are a bit dingy, but that shouldn't stop you from visiting."
"Memphis Cafe has a menu with many entrees that sound mouth watering. It was hard to decide what to choose. The crab cakes had a lot of flavor, with a crispy exterior, and the sauce it paired with was amazing. The shrimp and grits are different- but the green chilis made the grits have a pop of flavor and spice. The barbecue shrimp was an interesting spin on the dish, but it worked. It’s not the biggest restaurant but there is bar seating and an outdoor patio. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I would come back to try other menu options."
