Craft Roots is a cozy and welcoming bar, food, and restaurant located at 17230 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill, California. Our establishment offers a unique and diverse menu of craft cocktails, delicious food options, and a warm atmosphere for guests to enjoy. Join us for Happy Hour on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm, or visit us on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for lunch and dinner. We are closed on Mondays. "3.5 stars I've been recommended by a friend to come here. She raves about this place. My friend is vegan which is why we came here. We walked in, immediately a gentleman came and greeted us. They offered us an outside table but it was super cold. We sat at the bar so we wouldn't have to wait for a table, but once they had an opening, we immediately went to sit at the table. They gave us menus and brought our waters a few minutes later. We ordered our food and my friend's came out first. Why didn't they bring it all out together? She waited to eat until I got food. I ordered the appetizer Mac & cheese and she ordered a kid's Mac & cheese. Hers was in a white bowl and looked yummy. Mine came out in a skillet type with burnt cheese LOL. My Mac & cheese was not worth $15. Now, the bartender was cheerful and wonderful. That dry Mac & cheese made me thirsty. I was about to ask for more water, when my server finally showed up with more water. I can see why this place is popular since it's a bar and their cauliflower bites don’t taste like cauliflower. I paid almost $20 for a Mac & cheese that was dry and burnt."

"Came for to-go dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the plant-based options of food. I ordered the bourbon bacon burger and buffalo cauliflower bites - both were delicious. Ambiance in the establishment is cozy, vibrant. Great local owners and very amicable staff. Free parking all around downtown."
"Quite possibly the best vegan burger I’ve ever had (I think it’s their house CR sauce that does the magic). Wish I’d known about and been here before. Next time, I’ll probably try out their pizzas!"
"I was craving wood fired pizza since I became lactose intolerant. Their pizzas are simply delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere here too. Great place to chill and hang out, and even come for dates!"
