"We lacked a GM and several real managers that knew what she was doing and could actually run a store. She was far to young an was clearly doing things wrong. Several staff reported issues to HR an nothing was done. Eventually the GM was transferred to another store even after all the things she did. A new GM was brought in to apparently fix everything by the book but treated everyone like a robot. Cut hours to employees who actually wanted to be there an work. Didn’t understand that the current managers also didn’t know what they were doing. So I eventually saw a lot of great staff quit, because HR failed them. I think they had one male manager who was always working. Always on the floor doing everything with his staff. He was great. So those stars go to him. Another issue with this store is the B certification an green washing eco claims. You can see their employees throwing away mounds of trash in the back. I asked one am she stated each article of clothing comes individually wrapped in plastic. It’s then taken out to be placed on shelves. Some get repackaged when shipped. Also the price of some of these items is astounding lol. One of the athleta designers transferred to old navy. You can lit find some of the exact same designs for about 1/4 the cost. Maybe not the quality but still."

"Although I like the clothes I find the shopping experience not so nice. Not sure if they are socially profiling or what but you can’t browse at peace. I’ve just been asked perhaps 10+ times if I was doing ok. Every other minute someone coming around to offer “help” or ask if I was doing “ok”. If they fear people will steal clothes then they should use CLOTHING SECURITY TAGS and let people shop at peace. Once or twice they ask you how you are doing it’s fine but to overwhelm you with their questions? Please! Let minorities shop at peace!"

"I adore and love this place, it's my go to for pretty much everything, including streetwear, lounge wear, gym wear, everything they do is spectacular. The fabrics and drape, their prices, and above all, their customer service is out of this world. What other shop that specializes in retail high end performance wear will allow you to take it for a "test drive" so to speak and wear it, try it out, and if you don't like it, will let you take it back for a refund or exchange. They actually advertise this, which is in stark contrast to many other retailers of this ilk. I have bought dresses and yoga pants plus sweatshirts and bra tops here, spent a fortune and worth every penny. My favorite times, of course, are their spectacular sales racks, which they have always. The sales people are always very responsive and helpful, no airs of attitude, just out to do their job well. The prices here, the service, the quality--it's all here. If they wanted to, they couldn't do a better job and if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would."

"I have a Friend's and Family 25% code. The card stated can be use once online and once in the store. I used the code for online purchase last night at home and decided to stop by the store today since I was in the area. I wanted to use the discount, the sales woman, scanned the code to the computer and said it's been used. I explained to her that I used online last night. She acted like I was lying. She questioned where I used it, that I used in the store. I told her to check my account. I wish I know her name but I do believe she is a manager at the store. She leaves a bad taste. I have spent lots of money buying Athleta clothes, not sure I want to continue to spend my money with them. They need to train their staff on customer service."
