"the atmosphere was great, good music, nice patio seating outside. we were there when they opened first ones to sit on a Saturday morning. server rushed over to take order three times after we asked for more time- our first time there. we ordered cauliflower, chicken a la tinga, and fajita tacos. Food looked great except i was brought fried chicken taco instead. chicken was at least a day old and stale. i told wait staff and they said oh you should try it, it's good. i had to ask for my cauliflower taco again. when they brought back it had a hair in it. meanwhile the steak fajitas were so full of fat that they were not edible as meat/fat chunks were so big. not only not edible, it tasted like old fatty nasty meat, had to spit it out and could not eat. the wait staff credited three tacos as they weren't eaten. will never recommend this place. on way out kitchen door was open and we could see the cook with a beard and no hairnets including beard nets. gross place."

"Gorgeous restaurant with amazing food. Had no idea when we walked in how far back it goes! The patio area is so nice with a full bar. Food was so delicious not one thing we didn’t like. Handmade tortillas!! Even the chips are exceptional."

"On a cold and wet day there is nothing that hits the spot better than a bowl of true Pozole and the Pozole Verde at La Botica is just that. Absolutely delicious and fresh with lots of melt in your mouth chicken. A generous portion with all the trimmings and a side of tortilla chips. I am a huge fan now. Try it and you will love it."

"Really good bar which is well stocked in tequila and mezcal. The cocktails were also really good. I enjoyed being able to choose the different fruit juices for the margaritas and pisco sours. As for the homemade tortillas I feel like it could be thinner or the meats could be more saucy. I liked their ghost pepper hot sauce and for $0.50, the portion was definitely worth it. Elite was the perfect texture. The ceviche was fresh but I wished there was a bit more flavor."

"I personally like my tacos simple, with fresh ingredients and these were delicious. The corn tortillas were hand-made and had a nice texture. The meat was well seasoned, not greasy but juicy. Looking forward to this place opening up for outdoor seating in the future."
