"I recently tried some dishes at this local place – haleem, chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan. Let me tell you, it was quite the experience. The tandoori chicken and haleem? They had this odd taste that nearly made me feel sick. The biryani was okay at best, might pass for someone who's never tried biriyani before. Overall, not really what I was hoping for, and probably won’t be going back anytime soon."

"Best Bangladeshi produce in the bay area and to reply to Soumya Das if you got the fish which is most likely frozen and had it trimmed and cut, clean and had the scales cleaned off you will loose weight on the fish like anywhere else any grocer store they weigh the fish before cutting it. Do you think by so called stealing from you a couple of dollars they will become rich, they don’t think as low as you."

"DO NOT ORDER THE CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA!!! It's literally the WORST Masala I've ever tasted!! It tastes like pure sugar, I've never tasted masala this bad that tastes too sweet?! and has no flavor at all. I called the resteraunt for them to correct it and they insisted customers like this garbage. I'm going back later today to get a refund. Never going back there again."

"If you are craving a fish dish and looking for something different, the Pompano prepared in their Tandoori oven may be what you have been missing. Most places deep fry their fish (which isn’t a bad thing), but when you are looking for healthier alternatives, it leaves something to be desired. When you take that first bite and it is moist, tender, and beautifully fragrant with a skin crisp that can only be achieved with the radiant heat of coal… just look at the photographs. This dish set a new bar for me. It seems like there is magic in the way they season this fish. Flavor all the way to the bone. It was the first time I’ve had Pompano prepared this way and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. Haafiz Food Mart is a hidden gem and will be definitely back for more."

"Very dirty environment with bad smell. Almost all foods are expired few years ago and still on the shelf. Although they tried to hide the expiration date with wite-out, but still readable. Some expired in 2014. Customer service is terrible. Will never go back there."
