Indigo Burger

"My first time there was good. They have a lot of choices for vegan burgers. I would order the BBQ bacon burger again, but I will try something else next time I go."

"Celiac review: I was so excited about indigo burger because they offered gluten free offerings, but this visit was a mistake. We ordered a cosmic dream bowl, and two different burgers (indigo burger with brioche and Hawaiian burger with gf bun). One burger was gluten free and the other was not. When the burgers arrived, we compared the buns and thought they looked different, so clearly one was gluten free. However, when I bit into my Hawaiian burger on what was SUPPOSED to be a gf bun it was soft, fluffy, and sweet-- not a good sign. When my dining partner bit into what was supposed to be his Indigo burger on brioche bun, he found the bread to taste strange, not like brioche at all. At this point we were coming to the horrifying realization that they may have switched the buns. We asked the cashier/waitress and she said it was the brioche bun, not the gf bun. She asked "oh is it a serious allergy or something"? I said yes, it's celiac and I can't even have items that touch bread, can I please have a replacement? She brought me the replacement in 30 seconds: red flag. The first time around, it took a couple minutes to bring out our food. I checked and lo, it was the exact same contents: they hadn't even given me a new burger, new toppings, anything. Inside was my old burger with the bite taken out of it and the toppings with the bite taken out of it. Hello?? I had just said I am celiac. They had given me back my exact same burger, contaminated with gluten, just on a gluten free bun. Even the sauce on the burger had brioche crumbs in it still. I brought it back to the counter and I notified them of this. The cashier/waitress and cook seemed apathetic, and offered me a complimentary side dish. At that point I was too afraid to get a side dish and hope they wouldn't gluten me after doing so twice. I asked for a refund and to their credit they gave me one. But a huge bummer and now a two-day long stomachache for this???"

"This review makes me sad because I really love this place but this was my first time trying the crispy chicken sandwich and it was far from crispy the batter on the chicken patty slid off it was to thick and spongy the coleslaw was placed on top of the patty which made the bread soggy. I usually get a burger and loaded fries but even the loaded fries tasted different everything just tasted bland the shake was the only thing I enjoyed but for $30 the shake wasn’t good enough to not make a review on the rest of the food. Picture below : I took the patty an tried to cut it thinner and then I gave up , I was still hungry….and with not many vegan selections it was very disappointing."

"They got delicious vegan food with small menu. Spicy chicken burger with Cajun seasoning is our favorite one. It’s served with coleslaw and the patty is super tender. Mozzarella sticks taste nothing like regular ones but they taste amazing! Chicken tenders are good. It goes the best with sweet and spicy dip. Service was very nice. They only offer outdoors seating but the place is neat. Its our go to place for quick and light meals."

"Sumptuous vegan burgers and shakes, to put it a nutshell. Loved my double patty Indigo burger with the works, while my friends enjoyed their BBQ single patty burgers. My only nitpick is that it's on the pricier side - the double patty Indigo burger was $12, the 3 fried mozzarella was $8, and the shake was $8. That's not to say the food is bad - it's some of the best burgers I've had, vegan or vegetarian. Would recommend giving this place a shot if you like vegan food and don't mind the cost. They've closed indoor dining due to covid but there are a few tables outside."
