"I'm very grateful for to have some Vietnamese options here in little ol' Newark. There's plenty of parking nearby and seating inside. Their Chao (Vietnamese congee/porridge) is the first thing that I think of when I'm feeling under the weather. My go-to is the pork and deserved duck egg. It's the perfect texture and combination of flavors. There's quite a bit of thinly sliced ginger that you have to sift through if you're like me and prefer not to chew on it, but it does add to the flavor. I've also had their chicken wings in the past, and it didn't disappointment."

"Worst pad Thai- smelly and gritty and so much soyo . Prices online are not the actual price. Banh mi sandwich and pad Thai came to about $30. 15.00 for pad Thai which i through out. Sandwich was 9$ it Was ok but bread broke apart while eating."

"The large lotus root salad appetizer was a standout with its freshness and unique flavor profile. The crunchy lotus root was delightful, providing an interesting texture and flavor that set the tone for the meal. Although the generous portion of celery slightly overpowered the subtle lotus taste, it still made for an enjoyable start to our meal. The restaurant's attention to customer satisfaction was particularly impressive. Upon expressing my thoughts about the celery to our attentive server, they graciously prepared a take-away version of the lotus root salad, minus the celery. This gesture allowed me to truly appreciate the essence of the lotus root and its unique flavor - a touch I found to be both considerate and responsive. The filet mignon shaking beef was another highlight. While it diverged a bit from traditional preparations due to the inclusion of gravy, this twist only added to its appeal. The tender, flavorful beef paired wonderfully with the tomato rice, offering a comforting and hearty main course that left us fully satisfied. Overall, our visit to Tramy's was an unforgettable experience that balanced traditional cuisine with innovative twists. I look forward to my next meal at this delightful restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a fresh and satisfying culinary experience. Rating: 4/5"

"Came in for a late lunch, it was empty. Lots of tables, it's clean, we were greeted upon entering & host let us sit anywhere. We sat at a table with a TV. They were playing sports, girls softball, but then they switched it to what we wanted (East coast semis) Celtics vs 76ers. We ordered fresh oj, spring rolls, chicken salad & chicken porridge (small & it could've fed both of us). All the food was good, chicken salad was really good, but I think more Cabbage would make it better. The porridge was thick and a lil mushy, but it was good in flavor. Will have to try other items next time. They have pad thai, pho and entrees. We'll be back."

"Cozy atmosphere with delicious Vietnamese food! I came here for the first time with my family for lunch and we all enjoyed our dishes. My most favorite were grilled pork with rice, the cream cheese wonton, and their homemade soy milk. Their staffs are nice and responsive to guests’ requests. The way seats and tables here are organized makes his place look great for both friend group and dating. I’m gonna coming back here for sure."
