"Mediocre food, nothing special. Trader Joe’s falafel balls and pita are better than this. Service could have been just as friendly and attentive were it a kiosk. Restaurant was a box with painted walls and standard tables and push up chairs. Get the kids meal for half the price and same volume as what’s on the regular menu."

"Decent chain for Greek food. The food is good, with fresh ingredients. My greek salad had lots of cucumber and tomatoes and no lettuce just as it should be. The feta was good, but there could have been more of it. My chicken skewer was warm rather than hot. The place is an anonymous box, devoid of character."

"Love the food and location of this place. We ordered Chicken Gyro and Pita-Hummus side. The pita bread is so tender and fresh that we just can't stop eating. Cost to serving is on par for Walnut Creek downtown standards ;) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."

"We like the gyros, and the beef and lamb is our go-to, although one kid likes the chicken one. Seems a bit pricey for what is is, but they're good. Ordering fries alone aren't worth it though, at $4 for a smallish box. Probably get close to same amount of fries plus a drink for same price when doing a combo. Parked on street for 50 cents as there was a meter maid roaming nearby but there is plenty of parking in lot across the street."

"*Note, review is based off delivery and not dine in. I highly recommend dine in so these issues can be addressed in store. I travel a lot for work, and Nick’s is one place I can get a customized, mostly healthy road meal. I have had Chicken Gyro Bowls from no less than five different locations over the past 1.5 years, and never had an issue with any of them. Until tonight. Issue 1: I paid for extra cucumber and feta. It arrived with LESS cucumber and Feta than what the standard menu item would come with. Issue 2: Despite my spelling it out (literally) to PLEASE ensure utensils were provided (while also marking the add utensils box) I received, you guessed it, none. Issue 3: The lettuce was soaking wet. The entire thing was dripping water, so there was next to no flavor whatsoever. Not to mention, I received numerous decrepit, nasty, discolored (old) lettuce leaves. Issue 4: I know they use thigh/dark meat, but I have never had a bowl with more chicken skin/fat than chicken. Yuck! Luckily, my delivery service refunded me for this mess. Couldn’t even eat 1/4 of it, it was so gross. Maybe if you dine in you don’t receive the dredges. What they got right: Added extra Tzatziki as requested, put my sauces on the side, did not send with tomato, onion, or rice as requested. So they are clearly capable of reading the orders. Hence the 2 stars vs 1. Just order delivery at your own risk from this location."
