"Food is fine, for what it is (what do you expect from Papa John's?), but they have INCREDIBLY slow delivery. Like glacial. My phone is full of messages saying they are sorry that my order is taking longer than expected. The pizza tracker will usually get stuck on step 3 ("preparing") for over an hour until they finally break down and get someone from Doordash to deliver it. Definitely not a place to order from if you have hungry children - it's faster to drive to Safeway, pick up a frozen pizza, and cook it yourself (at about 1/5 the cost, too)."

If you considering work here DON’T do it ⛔️ I worked for them for like a month and decided to quit for different reasons but the owner doesn’t want to pay me the hours I worked and the tips I made for that period of time. I tried to talk to him in person but he acted as a child, he was ignoring me all the time and he said he won’t pay me tips because “their policy” that I didn’t work for a long period of time and that he gave that money to the other employees (which is not true, because I asked them). Working many hard days until 2am and don’t get paid it’s not fair. It’s the owner of Papa Johns Walnut Creek, the one in Concord, one Kabob restaurant as well and a couple more in Concord."

"POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I placed an order online and got the wrong pizza. I called to talk to the manager and see if there's a way to correct my order but a certain KURT (introduced himself as the manager and took it back) pickup the phone. I tried to explain what happened and how disappointed I am because I am coming all the way from Fairfield, he started laughing and ask me if I'll write him a review. I decided to write him a review since he asked me and since he doesn't sound like he knows anything about customer service at all. I ordered Pepperoni, Anchovies and Mushroom, and I got a Pepperoni, Mushroom and I don't know the other stuff they put. Here's a picture of teh pizza."

"Let me start with the positive; the pizza was fresh and tasted pretty good. The base is fluffy and the cheese melted nicely. Unfortunately that is where it ends. I ordered the $40 NY style cheesesteak pizza + olives, what I got was a Cheese pizza with the slightest hint of meat (on some slices, not all) and no olives at all. The worst part is there was "some" meat, but it was soo miserly it was as if the restaurant wanted to stiff me.... "MORE? YOU WANT MORE?" "Please sir, I am starving!"... There is really nothing worse than a miserly restaurant, when I order a meat and cheese pizza for $40 I would really appreciate some meat on there. Missing the additional olives was the icing on an already sour cake. Not the best experience by any means, I doubt I will order from here again I don't like misers."
