"From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the staff, it was over the top with friendliness!! And then came the wine (huge selection) and the food ... amazing... we had chicken parmesan, short ribs with risotto and pork Milanese, all couldn't have been better! And the creme brulee, oh my goodness...pure happiness!!"

"My husband took me here for my birthday. Bartender hooked us up with his amazing house drinks and crab appetizer, as we waited to be seated for dinner. The owner, Gabriel, waited on us and the food was perfect! We just happened to walk up the street to find a place to eat for my birthday and glad we chose Carpe Diem and definitely will be going back! ❤️"
"Appetizers are great, entrees are not. The salad was bright, fresh, and light. Enjoyed the lemon vinagarette. The mushroom Flatbread was really tasty. great Mushroom taste, and the dough didn't take away from the bite. Fresh herbs on it would have been a home run. Calimari wasn't greasy and the chili sauce was delicious. but a bit too many fried onions but the fried green beans were an unexpected treat! Scallops cooked well but the cauliflower was totally bland. Pork two ways was a disappointment. Pork waaaaay overcooked, polenta temperature was cool....not warm at all. Braised cabbage was the best thing on the plate. And the glazed pork belly was delicious as well. Service was friendly and timed our food well. Just watch the check. The server inadvertsntly input my drink twice. Manager noticed me looking around and did a great job anticipating I had an issue and solved it immediately."
"Nice classy place. The owner was very welcoming and even gave me some background on the building. The meal was fantastic. I had the Sweet Chili Calamari to start and the breading was nice and flaky, calamari was tender. After I had the Frenched Lamb rack. It was cooked to a perfect medium per my opinion (which is debatable). And paired with a local Pinot Noir, Crisp home fries and French green beans. The meal and atmosphere were calming. I had an outside table and got some good pics. DEFINITELY recommend!"
