"If you are thinking about visiting Joella's, stop thinking and just go. Ian and his team (Perla!) have cracked the code when it comes to the crispy chicken sandwich. Wonderful flavors, fresh quality ingredients and nice big portions. The chicken was moist, perfectly seasoned and breaded to crispy perfection. The pickles and the bun are even noteworthy. Now, we must also mention the killer beef/pork chili. First rate, balanced flavor profile with a nice kicky finish. Ritz crackers and sour cream on the side! Still hungry? There's more...the PBJ bread pudding with a ribbon of banana custard as the counterpoint to the sweetness. So, I'm not sure why you are still reading this review when you should be heading over to Joella's write this very minute. Get going and get some good eats!"
"My boss was so kind to treat me and my husband to some of the menu items from Joella's Deli. Let me tell you...it is FANTASTIC. My hubby had the meatball sub and he devoured it. Delicious! My mom thoroughly enjoyed the orzo pasta salad and the corn soup and she ate it up quick!! I had the honor of eating the chicken sandwich and oh boy, it was OUTSTANDING. The chicken was so juicy, the pickles were such a nice touch (I'm not even a pickle person!) and that slaw? C'mon! So good!! (I'm not even a slaw person either!) the sandwich overall was dynamite and I would 100% go back over and over."
