"I loved their lamb, but saw a roach in the restaurant. That's fine. But then when I got home there was a body hair on my lamb shank. 9/10 for the food. 2/10 for the vibe."

"The service was good. The food was good BUT they used processed meat. Let me explain. I got a gyros plate. I love lambs. The traditional and best way is to cook slices of meat on a skewer. Yes, slices, not compacted ground meat. It is unfortunate because it changes the taste. The bread was really good as well as the sauces. Is it really cheaper to get processed meat vs slices of meat? I wonder."

"We enjoy Mediterranean food and have found the Silk Road Restaurant to be one of our best. We live in the Santa Cruz Area but always stop for a meal when traveling. Their eggplant appetizer is just perfect. We enjoy the plate option instead of the sandwich. They provide the excellent ingredients, fresh and crisp vegetables, meat perfectly seasoned and cooked correctly, along with an excellent home made pita. There is always more than enough to fill our tummies. The drinks are always served as requested and at the correct temperature. Try this place once and like us you will be hooked."

"Overall good experience, food was good, service was also. So yes overall its a nice place. They don't have a dessert menu though you will only get Bakalawa for dessert. Limited sitting spaces, I had a Chicken kebab which is really good little dry but tasted awesome."
