"Mislead about the return policy. I specifically asked the clerk about returning the tap shoes I had bought as a surprise for my daughter prior to purchase in case they didn't fit. Surprise surprise they didn't fit and when I came back days later I was told I could only get store credit as a refund by a different person at the counter. I mentioned to the new person at the register that I had specifically asked about the return policy prior to purchase and was never told that returns were store credit only. I was then told, "well, our return policy is on our receipt, and also on this sign." as she moves some paperwork covering a small sticker on the counter."

"My nephew took me to Jacob’s. A tiny mall type building with different stores. Mary, owner of The Rocking Horse, Greeted us with a welcoming grin. Kind words. Showed us how to play Where’s Waldo when my nephew mentioned trying. A game hosted by local businesses. The environment is very child friendly. My nephew was allowed to try gadgets and look around with curiosity. As a retired educator noticed many opportunities for fun purchases. Puzzles to learning games are available. Clothing, baby mom gear, more. What was especially cool is a previous patron who moved away was visiting with her grown daughter. Mary was jubilant to greet and chat with a family who stopped by from when she first bought the store. Child’s paradise for imaginative play things to do. Gift ideas for friends."
