Bachman Lake Park

"Love this trail takes me right to Bachman Station to take train to work. It's open view so no problem navigating. The area is clean and beautiful especially during sunny midday. Definitely won't refuse taking an opportunity to walk on it."

"I'm giving it 3 stars because I could feel better about it if I give it another try or two but I did not like the feel of this area. Part of the trail was closed and you had to follow detoured signed in some shady areas. It looks VERY dirty with tons of trash on the lower area by the water. I saw homeless people sleeping and didn't see any cameras for safety. I went for a run here hoping I would feel safe but I constantly had to look over my shoulder. There were a lot of cars with people sitting in them but not many people on the trail/lake area. I will give it another try because maybe I picked a bad day. I also hopped they would have workout area like in other parks but they did not. And I didn't feel like there were too many places for people to try and hide to hurt you but maybe it will be scarier when the trees fully bloom."

"Absolutely incredible place to watch the airplanes for an aspiring pilot like myself. Plane spotters are lucky to have such a place! If you get to a certain point on the trail the planes fly yards above your head as they land. It's the most xhilirating feeling ever! Enjoy fellow plane lovers!"

"Pretty, peaceful lakeside park with trails for running, walking, and biking. The lake offers fishing, kayaking, and rowing. Nice playgrounds for the kids and pavilions with picnic tables. Porta potties aren't kept up, just be aware. Parking lot is well lit at night. You will find wildflowers, trees, squirrels, ducks, turtles, and more here. Lovely place to enjoy nature. The lake is located right behind Dallas Love Field. Great place for plane spotting and watching the landings up close. The noise can be overwhelming, but the experience is really cool and worth it."

"It is a wonderfully scenic lake. I went in the morning before it became too hot. You can watch the rowers glide across the water. There is a rowing company that provides lessons and boats. There are exercise stations around the lake along with lots of activities going on. I saw a yoga class while I was there. There were groups of walkers traveling on the cement path. Bachman Lake is located next to Love Field airport. You can see planes flying overhead that are about to land. I have never been able to capture close up photos like I did today. It was amazing!"
