"The zoo is great with lots to see. It was pretty easy to get around, parking was good, and the animal exhibits were worth the trip. I'm not sure it's really the zoo's fault, but trying to get in took forever and was backed up. That could use a little work, but everything else made for a pleasurable experience"
"The zoo itself was fine. Getting there, not so much. We waited a total of 2 hours to get from the exit for Marsalis Ave, until I actually parked, because it was so backed up. My four teens and two infants got out and walked to the zoo because it was such a long wait. Even crowded, though, we got to see the animals we came to see, and didn’t have too many issues getting through the crowd."
"Me and my hubby went on a date to the Zoo. It was raining that day but there was no one there! Which made us enjoy the experience even more. There were so many animals out except the chimps. We walked around the whole zoo and took our sweet time, in total, we probably spent around 2-3 hours. The zoo allows you to take your own food, which is a bonus. It was very fun and awesome getting to see the animals. I highly recommend it for families!"

We are thinking to take our son to this zoo. Because kids especially enjoy exploring animals. I recommend everyone to visit this place."
"We went on a Wed 12/27/23. It was too cold for some of the animals to be out. The gorilla and big safari animals were neat to see. The hippo wasn't out due to the lower temps. It is paved. It was a long walk from where we were able to park to the main entrance. Purchase tickets and parking online. Parking was $12."
