"Usually this Garden Center is brimming with freshly delivered plants. Last summer was so terribly hot and dry that a decision was made at some level I suppose not to bring in the tender seedlings because they just shriveled up and died. A thumbs up to the long time personnel in the garden center because they are always on the job it seems. My only consistent gripe with this place is that when they do have a lot of plants in stock during the hot weather the plants are not watered often enough. As someone who loves plants it is heartbreaking to see these nice cultivars sit in the delivery carts and simply die from lack of water. They don't even have a chance to go to a good home and be allowed to flourish like they're meant to."

"Summer time is going to be busier than usual with the Comal River a few minutes away. Clean and organized. Outdoor items or items you may need for the river are displayed as soon as you walk in through the Home & Grocery doors. Will visit again when in the area."
