H-E-B plus!

"Firstly, the layout of the store is terrific. The flow feels great as you walk along from one side of the store to the other. There's an extra horizontal "middle" isle for better traffic flow. Groceries are decent to well organized. And the selection is second to none when it comes to HEBs. Secondly, the parking lot is giant, with ample room to grow. They've predicted, accurately, their needs for the future. Which is really nice to see, for an HEB. Third, the freshness of their produce appears to be top notch; better than, basically, all other grocers within a 30 mile radius. Outside San Antonio and Austin, you won't find better. Lastly, the employees... well this is where they lose my business. You would think that having the nicest HEB in the area might bring in welcoming associates who are happy to be serving top quality products/experience, but no, they aren't warm, welcoming, happy, or top notch. I don't know what management thinks they're doing, hiring degenerates, or just hiring friends, or not promoting a healthy workplace. Not sure what it is, but I wouldn't ever go back in their store. Even though the curbside sucks, as far as pricing, I would stick to that from now on, as it's not worth it to deal with employees who have zero sense of humor, professionalism, or tact, and, quite frankly, aren't the least bit intelligent. If you can handle a-holes at every turn, then this is a great store. For me? I'll not be joining the family on anymore visits here, and only going back if it's to pick up, curbside. Even though the store itself is great, I can't rate this place higher than 3 stars, since I'll never be going back inside. Train your staff better, or pay them better, or hire more people so they can have more time off. Obviously, the customer is not worth satisfying, here, at this location. "Charging significantly more for food on curbside on top of a fee is excessive. And when did you become like Walmart?? Not opening lines and expecting me to scan/bag/pay after I worked a 12hr day is ridiculous. This is not the HEB I remember. Make HEB great again!!"

"HEB, we got a rotisserie chicken there yesterday and you need to step up your game. They are not nearly as good as the Hwy 46 and 337 loop location. It was not golden brown and our kids usually love it. Not so with the last batch. They wouldn't eat it."

"I am absolutely in love with this food store. We purchase all our bread from the bakery and it is awesome. Large well laid out store. Well stocked shelves, reasonable prices and friendly employees. Dreading going back to Colorado just wishing I could bring H.E.B with me. Recommended for everyone!"

"Great and most convenient HEB plus grocery store in New Braunfels. It established only a couple years ago back in 2021, it brings so many residents and HEB lovers. The HEB plus has much more than grocery and fresh produce. I love coming here to HEB plus. They have a huge variety of fresh meat, cheese, fruits and produce frol local farmers, Texaa and other partners around the world. The store is clean and well lighting and organized with friendly staffs. They always have things in stock. You have to come by and check it out yourself. Additional they even have a BBQ food truck and Sushiya food stall. Love HEB ❤️"
