"Had hard leather heels replaced by all rubber heels on my like-new Florsheim men's dress shoes. They were in perfect condition. The only reason the heels were being replaced is they felt hard when walking on hard floors. When I picked them up, one shoe sole was torn away from the leather Upper. The owner said I brought the shoes in with that problem; my shoes were not damaged when I brought them in and he refused to take responsibility for his bad workmanship. He was adamant in denying responsibility and offered no solution, like regluing the sole. I wasn't looking for a refund, just fix what he damaged."
"I always bring my purses here to have the shoulder straps shortened. I'm short and the straps are always too long. The owner always does a wonderful job. This place is a gem! I also brought in my dull scissors for sharpening! My husband has his watch battery replaced here. I found the perfect laces for my boots. It's a one stop shop. The owner is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this shop!"

"I bought a new pair of Munro sandals at Nordstrom Rack outlet - a great bargain at $62, but the heel straps were funky and too short to reach the Velcro closure! After searching reviews, I decided to try Rolling Meadows Shoe and Luggage Repair. Alex was able to reposition the straps and they now fit perfectly. Even though I had to invest money repairing my NEW sandals, it was well worth it as the cost of $16 was reasonable. You can hardly tell the repair was made at all and the shoes were still a bargain compared to full price of $189 at Nordstroms. Thanks, Alex!"
