"Clean quiet park. Beautiful lake views. Water level is low."

"I love this park. The sites are good sized and fairly spread out. Water access is easy most of the year. However, I rarely have any luck fishing here. I’ve had better luck near the dam. There are always a ton of deer in this park."

"It is a very good place for camping and strolling. The day I visited was cloudy. I will visit again on sunny day."

"Went camping here. The staff is really friendly, but the sites are right on top of each other, much worse than other places I've stayed. Also sites were fairly close to the road. That being said I booked 2 sites and glad I did so I had some room. The camping was nice and quiet despite the close proximity. Look for spots that have a bit of space behind the picnic table. We lucked out with a cleared space in the woods ( site 139 and 141) otherwise you camp very close to the road. Bathrooms were basic and usable , but never have soap. Hiking trail close by"

"Needed a place to stop for the night. Have heard a lot about this place so we tried it out. Everyone was friendly and it was a nice quiet stay. This place just wasn't for us. Sites were level but close together and not very big. We like to be on the water and somewhat secluded. At least you can view the water from these sites. We saw many deer and some birds. We didn't hike because it was very muddy when we were there. Park was clean and cared for."
