"A somewhat hidden park, but it is actually very fun. It has a playground, and a couple of basketball courts (a taller one and a smaller one). It even has a tennis court next to the basketball courts. Apart from that, it has lots of open space to run around in the grass and set up a game of soccer."
"Hi, I was trying to remember a park with prairie dogs in Ft. Worth in a kind of sketchy are in the 1980's. I think this was it. So the folks asking about it being a "dog park" I think it is/was a "prairie dog park" see the difference? Are any prairie dogs left? Too bad the prairie dogs were not protected and allowed to be safe and thrive and there would be a nice feature added to Ft. Worth."
"There appeared to be a gang meeting at the park. We stayed there for awhile to celebrate mother's day and I went back to my car to get some things several times and each time I could clearly hear them talking about drug deliveries and protecting themselves. All of them were white and black and all their cars had a Dallas County decals on them. At some point another crew rolled up and things got tense for a few minutes as gang signs were thrown. Definitely not coming back."
"Beautifully maintained and lush park along the trinity trail. My girls love coming to the playground here. There is a wonderful view of Fort Worth. Lots of seating for picnics both covered and open and a duck pond as well. It's usually pretty busy on the weekends but there is ample parking."
