"Nice, clean, and quiet, not a lot of people, with a beautiful waterfall at the bottom of the trail to top it off. The best time to catch deer is early in the morning. Hiking is pretty light, though, with some ups and downs, but it's pretty easy overall. Just remember, what goes downhill must come back uphill. Should be pretty easy overall for the kiddos. Porta potties and covered tables at the trailhead. Also, some pretty intense dirtbike trails for those who are so "inclined.""

"Absolutely beautiful views! Great hiking trails... some easy and some advanced. It's one of my favorite places in Tarrant County to hike and find peace."

"Lots of trails around dam and lake. Not so clean area. Trails have some loose stones that can cause serious accident if you're not careful. Lake is large and beautiful. You can do fishing there."
