"I am glad that I hiked this hidden gem. Not only does it have the best view, but also some nice storyline. The bench and the bicycles at the top are unique. I had fun reading the entries found in the desk. It is not easy to navigate, so I leveraged all trails app to get here."

"Unexpectedly gorgeous trails once you can find the trailhead! Google maps takes you to a different parking lot, below the trailhead. Regardless, my dog and I still had a fun adventure hike here today. There are a lot of trails and trail off shoots, none of which are marked, so be prepared to get a little lost. There are gorgeous desert, plants and beautiful scenery. Bring lots of water and good shoes!"

"This was a great hike, but there needs to be better signage to mark parking and where to start the hike. I was trying for a sunrise ascent which was beautiful. Never did see the bicycle tree or the desk."

"A great hike in Alpine with interesting things to see. The bicycle tree and desk were cool. Have a sharpie handy. There are some in the desk to use to sign the desk and book. Have good shoes and plenty of water."

"As a previous review stated, take the trail that goes directly up the hill. Not well marked but very doable. I’d consider it easy-moderate at most. Fantastic views of the city as well as the bicycle tree leading up to the notorious ✨desk✨. Completed out and back in less than an hour, stopping to take many pictures."
