"Although Chief Scuba has suffered torment, ever growing with the loss of his Family, thru his own mistakes, it never eases, never dulls, But C.S.ofASHES knows he isn't alone and many have suffered much more devastation than he could ever bear. VOWING to not let the intense desire to help his family out of the trenches of the deceiver go in vain, An ASHIAN VOW to help anyone, someone, the old, young, lucky, and broke, All a epicenter of hope, and ever so briefly give them a smile even if at the ridiculousness of The Lost Kingdom of ASHES, but if the worthy look harder, and past their own ego built cage, they will see Ashes always RISE, and the live Chief Scuba poured from his heart that his children may only have his battered Ashian ruins to see, The amount of live , understanding, Rooting for Everyone to Succeed, and being the ladder others can step up on to reach their dreams in hopes of all around him to feel just that bit if Ashian light each day to Shield and ease life's struggles. Love everyone, Because they are you"

"Visited on a hot day, looking for a breezy spot to cool off. It wasn't what I pictured in my mind. Trails not clearly marked, and water was brackish. There could be some decent birding here. I wasn't sure what all was available there, some additional signage might help."

"This is hands down one of my absolute favorite places in Peoria... Its right on the water, nice and secluded, “beach” access and fantastic for sunset picnics. PSA it is a bit trashy though, so pick up after yourself!!"

"It's a sight to behold. Nature was chomping at the bit to take back what was rightfully Her's! Definitely recommend going to see the golf course get gobbled up by IL's native vegetation!"
