Logan Recreation Center is a vibrant education hub located on the South Side of Peoria, Illinois. It serves as the official home to the Moonlight Coalition for Adult Learning, offering a variety of classes and activities for adult learners in the community. The center is situated in Logan Park and features numerous outdoor amenities such as lighted basketball courts, a soccer field, a kickball area, picnic areas, and a water playground/splash pad.
The Moonlight Coalition for Adult Learning was established in 1994 with the goal of providing organized activities for young community members to prevent juvenile delinquency and crime. Over the years, the focus has shifted towards providing accessible GED education for adults seeking to earn their high school diploma. The program offers open enrollment and is located within local communities to better reach those in need of educational support.

"The peoria south side has almost been forgotten about. Logan center used to be a very busy, active south side asset. Indoor ice skating "GONE!" outdoor ingrown swimming pool "GONE !" outdoor big screen moves on weekends "GONE !" What is down here for the kids in the community???? I went to Manual high school in the 80s. Manual had a hockey team then. Yes a Hockey team ! And a pretty good one. Why ??? Because Southside kids learned to skate as kids and had the opportunity. Now they don't. I would have to think that a lot don't get the opportunity to learn how to swim either. And that's a shame. Could even cost someone their life some day. Western Ave got a much needed make over. New road. New side walks. And new fancy light post. But what does any of that do for the kids ??? They need a place. I can't help but think I'm not alone on this. Help Logan center help our next generation."
