Tri-State Ford

"If I could give negative stars, I would. This is the worst place I’ve ever dealt with. Yeah, got into a newer vehicle than my last one. But hell, the following week after purchasing it it had to go in the shop to get spark plugs changed AND THEY TOOK A WHOLE THREE WEEKS TO DO IT. Most of that was waiting for them to even start. Then not even a month later, it goes BACK to the shop because of the check engine light again, they made up some excuse how something else was going bad and they needed $400 before they could fix it. Sadly, paid it… and they kept my vehicle for a whole damn month when any other mechanic could’ve had the job done in less than 2 hours. Then a month and a half later, they keep a whole month before finally saying it needs a new engine all of a sudden. Bought a brand new engine, and they keep it another month. Every time you take your car in for one thing, they will always come up with how something else is apparently “going bad.” They just want your money, while they waste your time and treat you poorly. WORST MECHANICS EVER. It doesn’t take over a month to do jobs. Better yet, the jobs I’ve needed to have done to my car were always 30min to 2 hour jobs. What’s the excuse for keeping someone’s car so damn long? That’s ridiculous. And god forbid you get decent customer service. They just laugh and brush you off like you’re beneath them. Even the General Manager. —- normally I am a patient and understanding person, but this is ridiculous and I’ve only ever had a bad experience like this WITH THIS PLACE. Nowhere else in the years I’ve been driving and the few cars I’ve had, has ever been this bad at timely service AND customer service. If I could take my Ford anywhere for mechanic work instead of this place, I definitely would. But a contract says it has to be a ford dealer that’s closest to the address where the car is registered. I would not recommend this place to purchase a car, or for mechanic work if you have a Ford like I do."

"We had a great experience working with Diego on purchasing a new vehicle before the New Year. He was efficient, sent us several deal sheets to review, and wanted to make a deal. We were out of state buyers in rural NM. Driving to look at vehicles wasn’t feasible for us at the time. Other dealerships had been shrugging us off all day and failing to return calls/texts. We had no issues communicating with Diego and appreciated his willingness to work with us despite us being an out of town. He was also the most transparent about total purchase price. No surprises once we saw the deal sheet."

"had 8am appt. dropped my truck off at 7, cause some people have a real job, unlike Chris the service manager. spoke with him @ 7:31 he got nothing done, forgot the truck was there, then blamed me. we had words, then said he wouldnt work on it. i have been driving fords 4 40 years, thanks 2 tri state, i will trade them all in. incompetent, should be fired."
