We moved to a smaller house/yard recently and I thought we wouldn't need them anymore, but I got a little behind on maintenance, and viola'! "Didn't show up for two weeks after scheduling a service, twice in a row. On the second time I tried to get another service to do the work and they wanted $200 just to clean up after these guys. Avoid Umow like the plague."

"The lawn looked terrible, so I decided to use UMOW. I measured my lawn via a website I found and used this info to select Large on the umow website. I schedule the service and was told the lawn would be mowed within 3-4 days. Well….no one showed up so I sent an email a few days later. A lawn person showed up immediately ( I don’t know if that was a coincidence.) The mower did a very good job. Tips: don’t expect immediate service and mark any plants that you don’t want mowed by accident (my yard has natural areas so I can’t fault the mower.) I’d use UMOW again."

"Used to be pretty good, but they've gone way downhill. I had to pester them over and over to get work done at my place, because -- no lie -- the landscaper they contracted to clean my gutter **didn't have a ladder** to do the job. I live in a one story ranch, and I've cleaned my own gutters with an 8 foot ladder. That was the start of the debacle; ten days later someone finally did the work I basically never post a negative review but they've earned it. Judging from recent reviews this seems to be a pattern too, and since their email replies are sporadic at best I'm going to post my honest feedback here. I scheduled service for Aug 30. When it wasn't completed by Sep 1, I sent an email. A day after that, with no service and no reply, I wrote back and stated I'd have to dispute the charges if there was no reply. I got a reply that UMOW would call the landscaper. A day later, no reply, so I email again. Then a day after that, finally a reply: "We've talked to the landscaper and said they don't have the ladder to do the job. " A) I live in a one story house, if he had any kind of ladder he could do the job and B) UMOW should have figured out the service didn't happen and done something about it. And then the icing on the cake: "We will do our best to finish it this week." After it had been six days already and I had to send multiple emails to get a single reply. I replied back, upset, and said that wasn't enough and asked what UMOW was going to do about it. I was offered a 10% refund (all of $9) which I accepted and was told the work would be done the next day (Monday) or Tuesday "with a big priority on Monday". Well Wednesday rolls around with no service, so I send another angry email. No reply, but today (Thursday) someone finally came out to the house. It took TEN DAYS and five emails from me to get this simple job done. After I prepaid for the service. A 10% refund after I had to ask for it and barely getting the work done is not good enough. I've used this service for years but I'm incredibly unhappy with it now and UMOW hasn't done nearly enough to make it right."
