Trustworthy Cleaning Service - Austin

"On Nov. 3rd, Trustworthy Cleaning was hired to perform a heavy duty cleaning of my home. Unfortunately, the services provided were not detailed or thorough. Specifically, there were areas of the downstairs floors in the living room that were not cleaned, there were areas of the kitchen floors that were not cleaned, there were areas in the primary bathroom floors that were not cleaned, and the primary bathroom shower was not thoroughly cleaned. They also did not clean any of the floors in the laundry room. I contacted them regarding the floors and the shower and they sent a crew out the same day to clean those areas. I did not notice that they laundry room had not been cleaned until they had left the second time. They also caused damage to a console table in our entryway. I contacted them about the laundry room and the damage to the console table. I also informed that the employees left their cleaning supplies. They refused to come back but instead offered a $50 refund. The following morning when we went to use our cooktop, we noticed the damage to our burners. I contacted them and provided photos of the damage. An employee from the company came out the following week to see the damages. The employee immediately identified the incorrect cleaning tool that was likely used and caused the damage. They reported this to the company while still in my home. There was no attempt to re-clean the burners. I provided them with information from the manufacturer regarding the cost to replace the burners which is approximately $532. They made me go back and forth with them for another week only to offer me $200. However, they did not say that this $200 included the $50 they had already promised to refund so the actual additional amount was $150 and not really $200. They then told me in email correspondence "In order to proceed with the refund of the balance of $150, we would like to explain to you the procedure. Since we do not have an exact amount of $150, our Billing Team will need to charge $210 and refund to you the full amount of $360." This is absolutely ridiculous they offer to refund me an amount but then can't figure out how to refund the amount they proposed without charging my card more money. It's Feb. 10th 2024 and I still don't have my refund by the way and I've emailed them several times and filed a complaint with the BBB which they failed to respond to."

"I hired them for a move out cleaning, I did specify the more detailed option as after emptying my 2bed/1bath duplex of 2yrs (as a single mom with a 5yr old and 2 cats) the place was embarrassingly dirty and in need of a lot of cleaning. They communicated via text, email, and phone which I appreciated their extra communication. They did assess and say they need to extend to a Deep Clean, more hours, and an additional cleaner. They worked with me to just pay an additional flat rate to my already quoted estimate and they guarantee it'd be completed, I agreed. They were nice, professional, contacted me when they found some random items I'd forgotten in a drawer. And when I saw the finished job I was blown away (it was a doozy before and i was certain some areas would possibly be too stuck or damaged)! But it looked good as new, so clean and sparkling!!!! I was too ashamed to take before and after pictures but it was amazing. A job well done and despite pricey it was so so worth it for the results!! I'm confident now that I'll get my rental deposit back, they saved me. I can't speak to the bad reviews but just communication, working with them, and understanding the laborious job they do is worth the price, will give great results!! Highly recommend!"

"Learn from my mistake and pay attention to the bad reviews!!! I believe they also go by the name, Blue Daisy Maids, as that was the company I contacted, and Trustworthy Cleaning Service were the ones to respond back. I hired them last month to do a move out cleaning on a house I had rented and unfortunately had a few issues after the service. My main issue was that they damaged almost all of the blinds in the house (which will most likely have to come out of my security deposit now). They did not offer any sort of compensation when I reached out to them and said that the blinds were already like that when the women came by (a complete lie - I have a few photos of the windows from right before I moved out and the blinds were intact). They ignored my email for almost three weeks and then lied in their response back. They also set the thermostat to 57 degrees, and left it at that temperature, until I went by hours later to check on the house. It was over 100 degrees that day, they could have easily broken the AC unit. They told me that the women do not know how to use the thermostat and that it was already like that when they arrived (once again a bold faced lie, I had the temp set in the 70s). My appointment was pushed back by a few hours, which wasn’t a huge deal, since I had already moved out and left a key for them. I decided to drive by around the time of the appointment to double check they had arrived, since my walkthrough with my landlord was the next day, and they were inside of the wrong house!! I had to frantically knock on the door and then speak to someone on the phone to tell the women to go to the correct address. Super frustrating. I had also confirmed my address with them that morning via text. The cleaning itself was fine, but they did miss a few areas like some dirty spots on the walls and inside a few cabinets/drawers. I would personally not recommend them to anyone."
