"Dropped my girls off at the pool today, both freshman in high school (14). Got a call from them, right when I got home, asking me to come pick them up because they weren't allowed in the pool since they weren't 16. That left me perplexed because the Rules & Regulations state that anyone 12 and younger has to be accompanied by someone 16 or older. I called the main line and was told that there shouldn't be any reason that they weren't allowed in (unless the pool was at max capacity). I got up there and inquired and was told the same thing that they told the girls --> they can't enter since they're not 16 years of age. I pushed back and said that's not what the Rules & Regulations page says on the Creekside Pool website. They said, "Well, that's what our manager is telling us because, the last time we let someone in that wasn't at least 16, we got yelled at. So, we don't want that to happen again." I asked if I could speak with the manager, but he was giving swim lessons, so they said they would go ask him instead. They lingered over there for nearly 5 minutes (laughing and talking to people in the pool) before returning to tell me that the manager said he'd "allow it this one time". They're "in the process of TRYING TO change the rules, but [they'll] honor the current rules, since [they] haven't been changed yet." IF and UNTIL new rules are posted (at the pool and online), I don't think you should be trying to enforce a rule that hasn't been approved or hasn't gone into effect. I gave a 3-star review because the kids working the front were really polite and well-mannered... and the pool looks like it's very nice, especially on a 100+ degree day. By the way... there were less than 10 people in the pool. "

"BCMUD Creekside Community pool is a seasonal favorite for residents and their guests. It is located adjacent to some limestone bluffs and across from Brushy Creek that make the pocket park next to it a very scenic place to relax. Basketball and lighted tennis courts are also there along with park restrooms, and a misting and drinking water fountain for cooling off on hot days. The Brushy Creek trail system runs behind the pool and there is a place to stop in the shade if you need. This place is a quiet community treasure."

"Just around the corner from the duck pond, the pool has 2 lap lanes permanently set, while offering the additional space for family recreation. For entertaining the kids, they have set up a sprayer that casts water out about 1/3 of the way(wide) into the pool, creating a heavy rain-like effect.. There is also a 13 foot deep diving board area that teens and adults seem to enjoy. For the very little ones, there is a shallow pool of swirling water that looks fun. The playscape area, while not huge, is decent and offers visitors of the duck pond some additional activities that their kids might enjoy compared to the playground there."

"The pool has a diving board but the deep end was closed the day I was there because the water was cloudy and the lifeguards couldn't see the bottom. The pool area had a very unpleasant smell. The pool has a lap area. The park has a small playground. The park and pool are on the Brushy Creek trail."
