The newly constructed monument at Veterans Park features six columns adorned with plaques honoring the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marines. Engraved bronze plaques, sponsored by donors in honor of their loved ones who have served, pay tribute to individual veterans.
The park has undergone recent enhancements, including a basketball shade structure, a pavilion with a fishing pier, and a new restroom facility. Pathways have been revamped, and playground entry ramps have been added for accessibility. Visitors can enjoy various amenities such as picnic tables, benches, grills, and a drinking fountain. Veterans Park is a serene and respectful place where visitors can relax, reflect, and pay homage to the brave men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

"Nestled in a gorgeous thicket of old oak trees, right near the heart of Round Rock, Veterans Park is a lovely area with a variety of amenities to take advantage of. Featuring a considerable amount of bank fishing access to Brushy Creek (including a beautiful dam waterfall), a basketball court, a jungle gym and swing set, ADA-compliant bathrooms, and intriguing flora and fauna to observe. The park isn't terribly large, but the lovely, shaded area is a wonderful place to bring the kids or go on a solo trip to enjoy the nature that is always on display."
"The park itself is good. I was there to fish, cold rainy day. Tough place to fish, especially with flies, as so many fish there with live bait. Good access, definitely a place to float tube or kayak fish. Below the damn is very ROCKY under water, pay attention. There are deep pools, like shoulder depth or deeper, good size fish, just got to be diligent about where you go."
"Cute little park with military themed ship, and bus. Area for rock climbing, and a very nice see-saw (a boat). One small trail around, and you could do fishing as well."
"Small, but clean and well kept park with a memorial for Veterans. There's a great, fenced off basketball court right next to the water, a jungle gym, seats for picnics and toilets."
