"Strange place. Looks abandoned. Grass higher then me. Trees wrapped in construction wire. No bathrooms, no tables, no pavilions (don't trust the RR website). Beautifull new playground."

"Nice place we have been going there for years. Reason only four stars is the playground been closed for years now and looks trashy. Looks like the work that started couple years ago has stopped."

"Very nice walk with wildflowers and wildlife. Can't wait for the full trail to be completed and connected to other trails."

"Awesome piece of history in Round Rock. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because as of March of 23, there is a lot of construction. It does look like it will be even nicer when they are done. I enjoyed being able to walk in and touch history. As part of the Chisholm Trail in the mid 1800s there were thousands of wagons and cattle that used the crossing. The wagons cut ruts in the soft stone that are still there today. You can even see them underwater. And the "round rock" was used as a water gauge to see how deep the river was. It's a must see if you like nature and history."

"Beautiful, Peaceful. Nice paved path to walk the riverbank with several level places to walk all the way down to the waters edge. Very Nice, fairly new playground for the youngens with age appropriate playscapes. Picnic Tables & lots of shade!"
