"This is my wife and I's Primary Care Physician and we both really like her. She has great bedside manner, cares about patients, and is attentive. We usually only have to wait 5-10 minutes to see her, if even that. Edit/Update: When I first started going to Dr. Parmar, the service and attention I received was top notch, unfortunately, this declined over time. The staff is not very friendly, and the admin for referrals is a joke as you have to go through a whole different department. I had hell getting referrals completed for specialty doctors. Regarding the most common reason for my visit; I had suffered from pretty bad/lengthy (month long at times) sinus issues and came into see Dr. Parmar several times. Each time, she just chalked it up to being viral, even though I had green and yellow snot coming out every time I blew my nose. I was constantly prescribed Bromphen which is just a band-aid to a more serious issue (I found this out later, see below). I finally got a referral to see a sinus doctor after several visits to this office. Upon seeing my sinus doctor, he indicated it was not normal to have recurring sinus issues, especially issues that last a month long. He examined my nose etc. and found my septum slightly deviated, so a plan was put in place to fix that. Upon me having surgery, they found a huge bacterial mass that was pre-cancerous (biopsied and later sent to lab, but came back benign thank goodness). They removed the mass, put stints into my nose and educated me on sinus cleanses after all that. Needless to say, once that was all done, my sinus issues were resolved. I have very little problems, and when I do, they are your normal run-of-the-mill sinus issues that last only a few days, not months. I am sure this office meant well but, unfortunately, fell short of care, friendliness, and overall service for me."

"Needed a new PCP in Lubbock as I'm here for grad school and I was referred to Dr. Parmar - she is an awesome physician! As a med student I have seen how crazy busy some primary care offices can get with doctors having to see so many patients in one day, but Dr. Parmar always listens to your concerns and gives honest compassionate care, and my appointments have never felt rushed or impersonal. (Side story - I called the office on a Sunday morning one time with the intent of leaving a message but somehow I was instead transferred to her direct line and she picked up then! I felt bad since the message was nonurgent but just goes to show she is there for you if you have more dire concerns. She truly does care for her patients.)"
