"Love the way they groom my dog every time. They were very accommodating of scheduling a pick time! Sometimes it’s hard to get ahold of them but it’s worth the wait they are great and seem to take care of my pet very well! My favorite groomers, they always do the cut exactly how I ask."

"Don’t be fooled by their sweet replies about “we can learn,” etc. These people will waste your time as they did again today. Made the appointment online and nobody told us they weren’t going to groom my dog again after we left an unfavorable review. They told my daughter that “I’m not going to get punched in the face again so we’re not grooming your dog.” The more mature and professional thing to have done is to accept the criticism, promise not to waste our precious time again, carefully follow our instructions on how we want our dog to be groomed to begin with, and see how they could make it up to us. You have to EARN good reviews and that’s done through offering top notch and good quality service, not by pouting and acting entitled and expect to receive good reviews “just because.” You have to be willing to serve the public at a high level, eat a rotten sandwich every now and then and accept it, and go beyond the call of duty like so many of us do for our customers. This is what reviews are for: to learn about the experiences people have had in the past with this particular establishment and to make a buying decision accordingly. After reading honest reviews, the public will, in turn, decide what’s best for them. Likewise, they’ll have to decide whether or not to trust their valuable business to an unprofessional place like the pooch pawlor. Next stop…BBB."

"I normally do not write negative reviews but I took my dog here and only had one request that they not cut the little bangs over his eyes. The hair doesn’t touch his eye or bothers him. The person who took the dog agreed and said that it was a part of the dog’s personality and said they wouldn’t cut it. My dog is very unique and we do not know his breed. To my surprise his bangs were gone and he looks like ever other little dog with a haircut. So if you bring your dog here you need to be extra explicit with your instructions."

"Highly recommend The Pooch Parlor. They do a great job with our Brittany Spaniel in shaving him each summer. They are ON TIME and communicate through texting which is helpful."
