Abundance Retreat

"Our stay at Moondance Cabin was absolutely amazing! We had to book a last minute cabin due to previous cancellations and thankfully Abundance Retreat welcomed us so quickly with open arms. Both Tina & Shellye treated us like family and had us enjoy their beautiful cabin with a well-stocked kitchen and cozy bathroom with a built in dry sauna! Our expectations were beyond met and we would highly recommend anyone to this place for a weekend getaway."

"Absolutely loved every second! I booked a 10 year anniversary trip as a surprise for my husband & this cabin could not have been more perfect. There was an very thoughtful welcome gift for our anniversary trip on the dining table when we arrived. It’s a very spacious little cabin, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked for the majority of our stay and had no problems. There were plenty of ice cube trays already filled & frozen upon arrival. All the pots, pans & cooking utensils were there. Whole coffee beans & grinder perfect for fresh coffee to drink out on one of the two patios. We brought our dog & she too had a welcome gift as well as a fresh bowl of water for her arrival & a ton of vacation toys & leashes if she needed any! The side tables to the couch were actually very nice kennels so we felt comfortable going to get dinner knowing she’d feel safe in a new environment. Very thoughtful. The land was such a retreat from the city! Super lush with trees & there was even big repellents already at the cabin if you needed any. Our little girl loved swimming in the water the second we arrived. I quickly found bird & deer feed… I cannot express how cute it was seeing the deer every day! Cooking breakfast- There’s a deer!!! Sipping wine mid afternoon- There’s more deer!!! Getting ready for bed - DEER!!! It was a blast. The tub was huge - water pressure was great. Not the greatest lighting in the bathroom to put on makeup - but considering we all went to the river every day of our trip, it wasn’t a big deal. The hosts were very communicative when it came to a zip code billing problem on my end - they were very quick to help me get my reservation booked. Fantastic space for a fantastic trip!"

"My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Sundance house which was absolutely amazing the owners have thought of just about everything to make your stay unforgettable. Tina and Shellye were great host and made us feel like special guest and checked in by email a few times to make sure all was going as planned. Between the stunning waters of cypress creek the abundant wildlife and convenience to downtown Wimberly makes this a place I would highly recommend. "My husband and I and our pup just spent a wonderful weekend at Abundance Retreat in the Moondance cabin. Tina and Shellye go above and beyond to provide the most relaxing and peaceful experience possible. The cabin is equipped with everything you could possibly need and things you didn't even think you would need. I highly recommend Abundance and will definitely be returning in the future. They even cater to your furry friends needs. My dog have an amazing time!"

"We stayed at the Moondance cabin, which is the little log cabin next to the main house. Absolutely wonderful! We typically stay next door at the "Inn" because of its wonderful location (walking distance to Wimberley Square) which is also an awesome place, but we wanted a little more privacy on this trip. Mission accomplished when it came to humans, but not when it concerned wild life. What a magical place. Now I know why they call it "Abundance" Cant wait to get back. Both houses would make a great "extended" family retreat."
