"Horrible customer service, after attempting to book through VRBO and unsuccessful we booked directly an hr later and it was over 1k more. That aside, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, one bed frame’s slats were completely broken. When we brought this up to them we received no response. We requested receipts multiple times and no reply. Never received receipt or confirmation had to reach out several times to confirm booking. In the end they double charged us. Don’t recommend, it’s a scam."

"The property on Kellywood in South Austin set off fireworks last night - Saturday Sept 2nd despite the area being under an extreme drought and critical risk for a fire. There have been numerous fires in the area in the past month so it’s baffling that someone would be so disrespectful to light fireworks off with firefighters out here risking their lives. The property managers are either incompetent, don’t care about the community, or both."

"The owners have obviously never been to this home. The tap water smells of rotten eggs which stays in your hair when you shower. We had to go out to buy jugs of water for drinking and cooking. They keep bees on the property which have swarmed the pool making it unusable. The kitchen lacks necessities to make a simple meal, never mind being a “chef’s kitchen”. There were no sponges or kitchen towels provided for doing the dishes. The listing sleeps 16 but only seats 10 for a meal. There are not enough linens provided. The host is unresponsive. They charge $600 to turn on the hot tub. We rent a retreat house every year and it’s always a wonderful experience that we look forward to. This is the first year we rented with this company and it has been a disaster. We have spent the whole stay dealing with the issues. What a waste."

"Truly great hosts. We rented one of their properties for a company 4th of July get together and it was out of this world beautiful. While staying there, we felt like Kings. All my guys were taking selfies left and right, posting it all over Instagram and Tik Tok, making all their friends jealous. Will definitely use 512 Retreat again the next time I am planning an outing for my employees, clients, or even just my family."

"This place was a complete rip off. We had a Bach party, and they uncharged decor by $600, and when we talked to the actual decoration manager she charged about $200. Do the math. If they’re scamming customers ion DECOR CHARGES what else are they scamming us out of? The place was cute but looking back, way too expensive for what it was. My group spent a lot of money on this trip and majority of it was saying at this place and the decor which was a WASH. Never again."
