"This professional Company STILL ROCKS after all these years. PoolScapes built our pool back in 2000 and luckily, haven't had many issues at all over the past 20yrs+. But if/when we do, we've received top notch responses and service as though they were trying to gain us as a new customer. That is how you maintain a great reputation for so long. Through the few freezes we've had, the pandemic supply chain and lack of quality workforce support, KUDOS PoolScapes! Todd, Tommy and the entire crew - KEEP IT UP! Appreciate all you do......M²"

"Seems like they are currently too busy for new business. Don't even bother reaching out to them at this time."

"I have had 2 pools put in by Poolscapes at 2 different homes. The team is amazing to work with from design, through construction and completion. In my first pool Ryan handled the design and Mike handled the management of the construction. They did a great job and any time we had an issue, Dick (owner) got personally involved and helped us work to a resolution. With my second one, we went a bit more elaborate and added firebowls, a spillway, much more decking and arbors as part of the build. We also added a full sports court as well. Todd handled both the design and construction on this pool, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. My advice to anyone adding a pool to their home is to do your research. There is much more to it than you may think. So, be educated, talk to your builder about all aspects. Poolscapes will absolutely spend the time with you to make sure you are educated and comfortable. If and when we move into another home, I'll be a customer for a 3rd time!"

"The pool was finished in a timely fashion. As construction goes there at always set backs but they were handled in a prompt and professional manner. Dick and Ryan Lynch know how to listen and design a pool that is exactly what you are asking for. If you are not sure they have build so many beautiful pools you can look at pictures/visit some in person. We refer our clients to Dick Lynch because we know he will handle them with care and concern and get the job done right in a timely fashion. We love our pool!"

"With the exception of the owner, Poolscapes has an great team and they do good work. The challenge with the owner is he pushes back on anything that might cost him doesn’t always honor the contract. Before deciding on a pool company we got drawings and quotes from quite a few. In the end they had the best design that had everything we were looking for. It was over our budget but since it met all our expectations we were able to justify it. Gary Westbrook is an amazing designer. We told him what I envisioned and he came back with something that blew my mind. He is a great guy and stuck to his word every step of the way. Once we signed the contract things took a little while to start. It was June and peak season so I can’t fault them too much for that. Mike Meyers was the project manager and was extremely good at making sure everything was done right. We had to point out a few things like a few incorrect measurements and trouble with framing but he was quick to get them corrected. He also kept me in the loop with next steps and time frame. Where the customer experience got rocky was when Mike Meyers had to go on vacation and Dick Lynch (the owner) was covered for him. Instead of acid washing the pool, which gives the pool plaster an uniform color or more specifically eliminates the huge white splotches you would have once you filled the pool. Dick said we didn’t need to do it because of such a good job they did with the gunite and I agreed because what do I know about building pools. Once we started putting water in the pool we noticed that there was discolorations everywhere. Needless to say I was not happy. Mike Meyers returned and he was blown away that we didn’t acid wash before filling. We had to wait another 2 weeks pouring acid into the pool to fix it. (there are still a few spots that we could never get to go away so that was a lesson learned.) Now everything is complete and we need to get the final inspection from the city. Dick says we need to fill the 4 large planter boxes to get them to code (no less than a 30in drop) and put a rail up (around $500-$600) because it’s not in the contract. My wife and I explained that the contract clearly states: All work shall be completed in a workmanship like manner and in compliance with all building codes and other applicable laws. You would think that would include anything that needs to be done to get it to code. Nowhere in the contract does it say that the home owner is responsible for these items either. We ended up filing the planters for safety reasons but we are still fighting with him about the rails almost a year later. The final inspection with the city is still not done and Dick is threatening to “bill us” if we don’t get one put in. The thing that really sucks is that we already paid him all the money for the project. If you do use this company please make sure that you make them put the following in the contract before signing: - Poolscapes is responsible for any damage to the sprinkler system and will repair said damage. - Poolscapes is responsible for all rails and additional rock/dirt to bring the project to city code and pass final inspection - Final payment will not be made until after final inspection has been done and passed by the city inspector. - Any Plants or trees that need to be moved or saved need to be listed. Bottom line, The workmanship and design is decent. They are a more pricey and take longer than some of the other builders but their workers do good work. If you want to have a good experience with your pool build, make sure the contract has the above additions, make sure you don’t make the final payment until after the final inspection and request that Dick Lynch not be involved with the project. If you do that you should have a great experience and a wonderful pool when they are done……it just might take a little longer then you expected."
