"The ONLY place in south Austin where you can play basketball indoors for free! Not too many available times for open gym but we call before hand and go every chance we get. My 13 year old loves to practice and I'm not going to be outside in this 102 degree heat."
"I remember playing soccer here & the opposing coach taking the ball away from me from scoring any further. I felt shame for being good at soccer. I also remember a coach scolding me for not scoring & winning the game. Like it's not a team sport."
"Much as I like the nice Basketball facility. I question the scheduling of the Youth and Adult hours? The adult hours are also hog by bunch of youth playing the entire time on the whole court, it leaves most of the ADULTS unable to decently team play. Isn't it thats the point of having a separate time for adult and youth? Unless Adult hours are also for under 21 age?! Keeps on happening the entire week. Enforce what age is appropriately for adult only....Otherwise its useless having a Youth and Adult schedule."
"Summer Austin Rec Basketball Program @ Dittmar Rec. Our 5th grandson's 1st game here. This is a great summer family bonding sport. Many years coming to Dittmar for soccer, basketball, and lots of fun!!!"
"The bathrooms that remain open outdoors are BEYOND UNSANITARY. It’s a health hazard. May 20, 2022 and the Pool looks abandoned but THAT’S what my tax dollars go to..they also delete reviews because I had posted a bathroom review in 2020 with PICTURES of the filth even then."
