"I took the beginners class with Mr. John as someone who wouldn’t be caught dead in a swimsuit. This was stepping out of my comfort zone and I should have done this sooner! In two weeks I can confidently swim from one end of the pool to the other roll on my back and swim backwards. Mr John is an exceptional instructor! I couldn’t say enough good things about him . From his professionalism to the care and patience he gave to each of us, totally out of this world! He is indeed the swim whisperer. I will miss my swim mates , you know yourselves, it was amazing to meet all of you. I always looked forward to class!! "I cannot say enough about John, he is the best! If you are contemplating purchasing a class, just DO IT! I've sent several friends his way. His classes stay full because he is an amazing, patient, intuitive instructor. I, like many other people in the reviews, had lessons as a child but never was comfortable swimming. I made a promise to myself that I would get over my fear, read all of the reviews, and made the decision to take lessons again last summer. I was swimming confidently (floating on my back, swimming on my back, learned different strokes) in a matter of weeks!! John is a miracle worker. Thank you John!!"
"My husband was not confident in the water, but I couldn't figure out how to help him. As we start family planning, he was worried he wouldn't be able to help a child struggling to swim. In 45 minutes, John gave him the confidence he needed! He was patient and easily recognized problems that my husband was having that I had trouble identifying! Now Carlos is excited to go practice his elementary back stroke, breathing, and floating techniques! Thank you John!"
"I’m finishing up my private lessons with John. I love his coaching style! He is patient and encouraging and I felt like an all-star even though I am a complete amateur and often felt like giving up.
