The folks at Allied did a great job from Chad setting proper expectations on the front end all the way to Greg and Cole managing the project through completion. Two things really stood out. First, the subs Allied uses are some of the best I have ever worked with, and second was the way in which Greg and the team handled the unavoidable challenges that pop up with a project of this size. "This review is being written a little over year of when our patio and other work was completed. The reason will be addressed later in this review. I DO Not recommend this company. They do not stand by their work. At first we were very impressed. We had many people consulting us on the project and they seemed professional. We thought they were reputable. They are in several cities in Texas and out of state. We had them redo our back patio with carve stone and around our pool. We had a concrete slab that that was sinking. It took this slab almost 20 years to start sinking. Allied suggested we replace this slab as well as the one next to it so we did. They poured the concrete. Less than two weeks after the project was completed one of the slabs started to rise. The project manager (who never came out) was called and he told us he was in a different position in the company and we would need to call this Robyn lady in North or South Carolina. We did this and she contacted Greg who was also a manager . We did see Greg throughout the project. He is no longer with the company. Not surprised! Greg took some measurements and we then got a call from this Robyn and told us everything was great it was draining the way it should. THIS WAS NOT THE ISSUE. WE HAVE A SLAB THAT IS RISING AND IS BECOMING A TRIPPING HAZARD! Now here is the reason the review is so late. We kept getting told if you will just wait it will go down . You all have had a lot of rain. This was not true! We continued to complain so this guy Keith came out twice. Same spin if you wait it will come down. After the second time he came out he told us they would replace this slab if we paid half which was close to $10,000. I told the Robyn lady she needed to get on a plane and come see our patio. She told me it wouldn't do any good because "I don't know anything about concrete". WOW! We spent around $30,000 for this mess. So we decided to see if the summer would make a difference. Well, we had one of the hottest summers on record and guess what little change. Oh but now the other slab they poured is rising. The mastic is pulling out of all the creases. They didn't even pour that junk between the house and the rising slab because they forgot. The carve stone is already chipping in some parts. They poured a sidewalk for us and we can't open one of our storage units all the way because they didn't see if it would open all the way. It's just horrible that a company does not stand by their work. My advice go see their work and read all the reviews you can. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK! I now have a rising patio that is a tripping hazard! D&K Pronger Burleson Texas"

"We had a very positive experience with everyone at Allied, even the sub-contractors they used. We had the size of our patio doubled with a covered patio extension. The electricians (M&M out of Garland) and roofer in particular were very attentive to details. I would technically give this a 4.5 star review. We only had one tiny problem with some communication between the office, the engineer who had to revise the plans and re-submit to the city, and the city inspector. Some of that is to be expected but it felt like the project was stalling out a bit for a few weeks due to the many players needed to resolve a problem with the project’s design plans. What was a positive and different than other contractors we have used was a specific customer service point of contact who was really helpful, Robyn. She was very responsive and communicative via text and call throughout the project. Our designer Jonas was also really helpful and offered design suggestions which were helpful and also helped factor in cost to manage to our budget."
