"Good park nearby, only 10 minutes away from grapevine mills, has a big marina and boat parking, softball fields for kids, some spots for fishing and a beach. The accessible trail part is not long enough. There is only a few picnic spots , those go very quickly on good days. The beach is mostly red clay. They offer free life jackets. The beach gets pretty busy on hot days: a lot of families and kids. Dog friendly park, beach. Has a covered gather-up area for big parties further away from the lake. Overall good place for a picnic at the beach."
"I forgot how nice Lake Grapevine and the parks are. It's a great place to swim, sun bathe, fish or just play. Several dogs were out enjoying the water with their owner."
