Tangle Ridge Golf Course

"Played this course once before back during the spring a couple years back and wanted to come experience it again! I particularly remember the elevation change, challenging hole layouts, and undulations on the fairways/greens. I played on a Tuesday at noon and the front 9 took two and a half hours… the back nine was slightly better at two hours and fifteen minutes. However, never expected to play near a five hour round on a weekday. Aside from pace of play, the course was in fairly good shape (considering it is the winter season). I will say, I don’t know that I’ve ever played a course in the DFW area with greens that quick. While I’m okay with challenging and quick greens, these were almost impossible to read and keep above the hole… felt like we were putting on marble. I’m not sure if that is just due to cold/dry ground or that they cut the greens too short, but that was really more of a negative for me. I will definitely return, but it will be during the spring or summer months. Hopefully, the pace of play with continue to improve during the weekdays."

"I recently had the pleasure of playing at Tangle Ridge Golf Course, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The course is in impeccable shape, a testament to the dedicated maintenance team's hard work. The fairways were lush and well-manicured, and the greens rolled true and smooth. What truly stood out, though, was the layout of the course. It's not only challenging but also incredibly fun. Each hole presented a unique and exciting set of challenges, making every round enjoyable and memorable. The diverse mix of holes, including doglegs, water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers, kept the game interesting and provided opportunities to test my skills. Tangle Ridge Golf Course is a fantastic choice for golf enthusiasts of all levels. I can't wait to return for another round and highly recommend it for an enjoyable golfing experience."

"Played a Thursday solo round at Tangle Ridge on a hot day in August. The course was pretty good and I can't think of any complaints. The greens were fast all day is the one thing. The practice setup is good with the chipping and putting area. The range maxes out around 275. There is water/ice at the start of round, hole 8 and 15. There is some elevation changes and great scenery and houses. Loved playing this course, fairways and greens looked great for all the heat and lack of rain. They are punching the greens in early September."
