"Colonial Terrace has a wonderful and very kind staff. Their team understands that my dog gets very nervous coming into the office. Sometimes he is hesitant to go back to the exam room. The last time we were in, a staff member was kind enough to carry Zeke back to the room, all 75 lbs of him :) once he is back in the exam room they are very patient and sweet to him. He is offered an array of treats to help ease his nerves. He absolutely loves Dr Abbie and all of his fears seem to go away when she walks into the room :)"

"The staff makes you feel so at ease. My dog had an allergic reaction to something. Not only did the Vet and the nurse take care of my dog with love and care, they answered all of our questions without making me feel like it was a stupid question. Provided before and after photos ❤️❤️ still recovering but is so much better."
"I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I am from out of town and was in Dubuque for a work trip with my 10 week old puppy. He ended up getting sick while we were in town and needed veterinary care. After being turned away from the closest ER clinics and not being able to get an appointment with a vet in town, I contacted Colonial Terrace. I left a message and was called back immediately the next day. The lady on the phone was SO nice and got Waylon an appointment that same day. Dr. McCleary and her veterinary nurse (I believe her name was Sarah) were so patient and sweet to Waylon. He was given the best treatment and everything was explained to me very well. Waylon is feeling much better and we are so thankful for all of the staff at Colonial Terrace. I don’t have enough good words. Thank you for helping my baby!"
